Alvin and Milo

My Grandpa and Milo got along splendidly the other day.

Winter Bike

I'm biking through the winter this year, which isn't too difficult considering there isn't any snow on the ground, but that doesn't mean I can't play Dr. Quinn Bicycle man does it?

I love this jam. I think its my favorite on the new Feist record.

A Creature Of Habit.

Lately I've been having trouble with words, so...I've been reading some.

Family Fun Time!

Holy smokes, the whole family was together this weekend. It was pure magic.

I just purchased this record. I'm pumped.

Standing around with this crew is the best.

Its nice to have some family in the family van.

Since The Haircut.

Milo has been freezing.

Dave Got Married.

My pal Dave got married on Saturday, and apart from the some-what gender oppressive vows, its was very nice. Aria and Alissa thought so too.

Red Fox Grey Fox.

Okay. My old band, Red Fox Grey Fox. Is back. I just pooped my pants.

Grandma Computer

I visited my grandparents on monday.
My Grandma is getting her third book published by Guidepost and a lot of her correspondence is done via email. My aunt has been handling most of the correspondence, but my Grandma wanted to take care of it herself. She...doesn't have much interweb experience so I drew instructions for her. I'll check back with her on Monday and see how it worked.

Nona Marie And The Choir

There are some gals that recorded some covers and I bought their tape; Nona Marie And The Choir. They sound so beautiful!

Milo got a haircut.

Early Christmas Present.

Worst Merch Dude Ever.

It took me two days to get over two years worth of field recordings onto my computer. I found some real gems. Like, a room full of 60 year old men snoring.

Milo Smells.

Milo smells like dirty laundry.

5 Weeks. Year Number 2.

This was the second year I did a month long residency at the 331 club. Boy was it a blast. I'm kinda sad that I won't be playing there every Tuesday.

Thanks to all the folks who came out and all the bands that played with me. And a super duper gigantic thanks to the folks who played in the band with me.

Play Date!

I can make a playdoh snake like nobody's business.

I cannot ride these twirly things like anybody's business. I'm pretty sure I barfed.

Two Years

I'm starting to put two years of field recordings onto my computer. Its like finding money I forgot about in my pocket.

Holy Smokes.

We had a rehearsal tonight with the string players and the choir. Whew. It ruled.

Give Thanks!

For awesome people!

A Real Disaster

Milo has been turning into the fuzziest muppet ever and last night I decided to take things into my own hands.
It was a bad choice.

Three Piece Choir

Arranging choir parts is super easy when you have killer singers!

When you have less than great recording equipment, you resort to weird drum measures.

A City Of Owls

I have some pals who play in the Pop Sensation Owl City and I went and saw them on Saturday night. It was pretty radical.

This Is What Happens.

This is what happens when you do a radio station interview with out the band. Good form Jer and Karin!

We went to the Dwarfcraft offices and messed around with a bunch of pedals. Holy smokes it was awesome.

All We Are The Willows members have been converted to Dwarfcraft believers.

Ambient Inks!

On Saturday we went to the Ambient Inks Warehouse in Wisconsin. Its so awesome to see what Aaron and co. have done!

Hello Wisconsin.

Nothing makes us more happy than being packed in and snuggly.

See? We're so happy!

Playing the Cabin in Eau Claire was pretty fun.

At the end of the weekend we were all pretty pooped. Except Karin.

Gettin' ready for a killer weekend.
