Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Aria!

A.T.

A while back my old neighbor Augustine and I recorded an awesome set up hip hop jams. You can check em' out here. Basically, another neighbor of ours made the beats, Augustine wrote lyrics and melodies, and I sang whatever he told me to and recorded it. It was stellar.

Well, we just started makin' some beats and they are going to rule like crazy town.
Booyah.

The Best Weekend Ever.

I watched my niece Isabel this weekend while my sister and bro-in-law did some workin' and hangin' out in the cities. We had been planning on this since January. Its kind of one of the things that got me through some of the bummers of my last tour. How can shows falling through bum you out when you have a cute munchkin like this to come home to?

Izzy has no fear.

The Como Zoo in St. Paul, MN is awesome.

There were so many old people who were not psyched on Izzy cruisin' through the conservatory. I thought it was awesome.
Brio Train Set!

Oh man, so much snuggling happened.

All in all...the zoo visit, park playing, toy story watching, and shnuggling added up to one of my favorite weekends ever. Being an uncle rules.

I'm really enjoying the new Fleet Foxes jams. What a stellar band.

Izzy Is Coming!!!!!

This weekend Izzy is staying at my house all weekend! Hurray! We're going to build blanket forts, do somersaults, and snuggle. Oh, and play with my old toys.

Intershirt.

Hey! Do you have money? Buy a shirt! My shirts are available online now. Booyah! You can also buy internet versions of the shirt to photo-shop over your body in pictures.

Lately.

30 Rock has taken over my life.

Road Trip!

My Dad does this skit called the Invisible Cowboy. It's super funny and he sings some songs that are really awesome. My Grandparents LOVE the Invisible Cowboy. My grandpa usually loves sleeping most of the day, but when I got to their place to pick em' up, they were literally waiting in their car for me. It was a great road trip.

North Shore Sessions

A while back We Are The Willows band played in Duluth, Minnesota. After we played I did a recording session with North Shore Sessions. It was groovy.

To hear/watch more folks play jams, go to the North Shore Sessions website.

Its Official.

Summer Tour

I have close to 3 months of tour dates to book. Yikes.

Peter's Brand

Peter's Brand beer is great. If you love shitty beer. I love shitty beer.

Workin' Hard Or Hardly Workin'

I'm almost done with the website I've been working on for the last couple weeks. It's not going to be that impressive, but it will be something. It will be the first band website I've had since my high school band had one. www.mercybeyondmeasure.tk. Do .tk sites still exist? If they do, they are the bomb .tk

Milo has not been very helpful.

Sixty-Five Years

A couple of days ago marked 65 years that my grandparents have been married. They are two of the most incredible people in the world. They are my heroes.

Death Cab For Shnugglie

I watched the Death Cab tour dvd the other day. Man...they have had quite a different experience on the road than me. Jeepers. Two nights at the Filmore. Oh yeah?!? I've done two in one night in Sheboygan!

Milo was not impressed. At all.

Bro-ad Trip

Safety First! Zach can't wait!

Zach. Gettin' ready.

Bro'in down in the van before the show.

Dewi Sant played before us and sounded great. That's Michael from Dewi Sant on the bottom right.

Playing with a band rules. Partly because I get to use my gear. Yahoo!

Ben and I are ready for the throw down of the century. Chugga-Chugga riffs, electric guitar squeels, head banging. Yes.

Ben had to wake up super early the next morning for work. He still came and jammed. What a hero.

This show marked the fourth show Zach had played at UMD this year.

Jer. The We Are The Willows full band cornerstone.

He also had to pee on the way home and the gas station was closed.

I can't believe how much more fun it is to travel and play tunes with other folks. Especially when those other folks are also dudes who still laugh at jokes about penises.

Bro Down Adventure

Oh man, I forgot how magical it is to ride in a van with 3 other dudes for 6 hours in one day. So much potty humor. So many genital references. Zach, Ben, and Jer played with me in Duluth at the University. It was awesome.

Some cool pixs will be posted soon. That's right. Cool Pix.
